The SoHo Window
529 Spring Street
Between Broadway and Mercer
In March of 2009, we opened a crazy concept; a pick-up window on Spring Street that would sell just one thing - bite-size cupcakes. Crazier still, from the very first day, our future at that store was uncertain. Very few people know, but the plans to redevelop the landmark corner where our store is located were drafted long before the world got its first taste of our tie-dye cupcake.
Five years and 14 Baked by Melissa stores later, the time has finally come for us to lower the tie-dye flag that flies on Spring Street. We’ll say goodbye to the place where it all began. I’ll be serving customers just like the old times; we’d love for you to join us, have a cupcake on us, and celebrate the end to that magical corner.
Please come take part in this bite-size moment of our history.
With love,
P.S. Don’t worry! Our Pop-Up Shop is a block and a half away on Broadway between Houston and Prince!
