Join us at Samsung 837 as writer, Zara Barrie hosts a screening of “Wonder Woman." Popcorn and beverages will be served. Check in begins at 6pm Screening begins at 6:30pm --- All month long, we’ll be showing films with strong female casts and messages of equality and empowerment. Be here as we champion all women following Wonder Woman’s lead in conquering obstacles and fulfilling their truest destiny. More About Women’s Month at Samsung 837: Samsung 837 will celebrate Women’s History Month with an array of powerful, female-centric programming and events, launching with a panel discussion on International Women’s Day/March 8th. Spanning the month, Samsung 837 will host pop-up retail experiences, happy hours, film screenings, DJ sets and more in the spirit of empowering all women.

This event is 13+. MPAA Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, and some suggestive content. Samsung 837 will be opened to the public during this time. Complete silence during the moving is not guaranteed. RSVP is first come, first served. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Limited seating available.

In celebration of our 25th anniversary, many of this summer's featured films will take us back to the year 1992! Whether a classic favorite or a recent blockbuster, Randall's Island Park is an amazing place to take in a flick.

Outdoor movie nights take place at sunset every Sunday from June through September. Outdoor movie nights are presented in partnership with the NYC Parks.

Watch the pilot of 24: LEGACY on our three-story screen before its February 5th premiere. Discover the inspiration behind the new series and how VR is changing the TV viewing experience with a Q&A session with executive producer Howard Gordon. Following the pilot, check out some exclusive VR content using Samsung Gear VR.

The New York Philharmonic’s 2013 opening gala concert features music director Alan Gilbert and special guest cello soloist Yo-Yo Ma. The concert features dance-inspired orchestral works, including Azul by Osvaldo Golijov, a cello concerto written for Ma; the world premiere of an arrangement of Astor Piazzolla’s La serie del Ángel by Octavio Brunetti, commissioned by the New York Philharmonic; and a classic by Maurice Ravel, Alborada del gracioso.

A free screening presented by Queens Theatre and Lincoln Center Education.

Queens Theatre is partnering with Lincoln Center Education to present free outdoor screenings of some of the most impactful Lincoln Center performances of these past three years. The screenings will take place every Tuesday of August at 8:00 p.m. in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on the Festival Site right behind Queens Theatre. The chosen performances will reflect Lincoln Center’s eclectic programming as well as the borough’s diverse population. The performances will be projected on a 26' screen on the festival site in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, right behind Queens Theatre. In case of inclement weather, the screenings will be held on Queens Theatre's main stage. You are more than welcome to bring your own chair, blanket, picnic, and as many friends as you want!
