LAST DAY: This H&M Store Closing: 70% Off Entire Store!

With the new 34th Street H&M flagship store open, it doesn't make sense to have 3 H&M stores within a block of each other.

I haven't walked by this area for awhile and just noticed the 34th Street and 6th Avenue store had these huge 70% off signs. (The one next to Victoria's Secret) It looks so empty from the outside. The sale is only a few racks on the first floor. The 2nd and 3rd floor has already been cleared out, with some inventory shipped to other stores.

It is 70% off the entire store!

There were mostly pants and a few tops and skirts left over, along with some accessories...

Some prices were further marked down, so the 70% off was based off that instead. Most pants were under $10 after the 70% off, so if you find something in your size, it might just be quite the deal.

Some random men's shoes and a few heels are left.You can see that the heels retail for $29.99, so they would be less than $10 after 70% off!

There were still a bunch of black ties left which cost a few bucks.The pant clips were on sale for $5, so they were like $1.50 each.

In the accessories section, I had my eyes on the sunglasses that were in my fave tealish frame colors with a hint of reflective blue. Retails for $5.99, final price: Under $2.

I noticed this cute hat in the toddler's section - also a few bucks.

There are also a few scarves, a random straw hat, fake flower hair wreathes, and some jewelry.

In the bins section, there were hair accessories, clips, barettes, the spongy thing for hair buns, random cases, some candles, holiday stuff, nail polish, makeup...

The children's section also had some Halloween-like costumes, including this one with the skeleton design reduced for a $1, which is really 70 cents.

Who's shopping for Black Friday deals?
This year, deals have been popping up as early as ever, with some stores staying open on Thanksgiving, like J&R until 5pm today, and Macy's open for 24 hours, while others like Best Buy and JC Penney open at 6 pm and 8pm respectively on Thursday night.

If you're a fan of H&M, first 100 at each store snags a scratchcard with a mystery value. Most are opening midnight Black Friday, so check your fav location and start lining up!

Lord and Taylor fans, first 500 get $20 toward a $40 purchase 

For those with Mastercards, this holiday season, you're in luck because you can decorate your home with a beautiful holiday star ornament for free. Show your Mastercard at the Guest services at the Shops at Columbus Circle to redeem until the end of the year or while supplies last. I recommend going on a weekday. ;)

Another tip for Mastercard holders: You can redeem monthly free gifts from thr Guest services at the Shops at Columbus Circle. Past freebies have included an automatic open Shops at Columbus Circle logoed umbrella, Godiva chocolates during February, a nice little black notebook with strap and envelope for storage in the back, reusable tote, hand sanitizer, a mini pouch,  and other VIP free offers, like getting FREE admission to the Toys 'R' Us ferris wheel for 10 years!

For those who haven't already heard of the Wrapp app, it's the perfect time to give and get free gift cards to your friends and family. It's a great way to thank them for FREE! Of course, it's the thought that matters. And oh the more reason to go shopping and share quality time together!

11/24/13 SUN 11am - Learn to make pie in time for Thanksgiving, samplings, deals and holiday under the stars!

Thanksgivukkuh is around the corner.  Turkey, check! Gravy, check! Hmm, what's for dessert? Pies?

Williams-Sonoma at the Shops at Columbus Circle comes to the rescue with their last of the series of complimentary technique classes, entitled, "Pie, Pie and More Pie, Please," Sunday, November 24, at 11am.  The class will cover how to make "foolproof crusts and delicious fillings." And promises to get you baking pies like a professional pastry chef in no time. Check it out!

If you're not able to make the class in time, there will also be a round 2 class on Monday, November 25th at 6pm.  Sign up for the class by the registers so they know how many people to expect.  If you're interested, give them a call.

While you're here at the Shops at Columbus Circle, enjoy the "Holiday Under the Stars".  There are twelve 14-foot stars that cheer us up into the holiday spirit with its colorful assortment of illumination.  It is a must-see display which is choreographed to traditional holiday music, creating an atmosphere of jolliness, that just makes you want to belt the lyrics aloud and do a little dance!  Enjoy the light show and have a happy Thanksgivukkuh!
