Free ROYCE Chocolate Tasting!

How Japan Does Chocolate

ROYCE’ was founded in Sapporo, the capital city of Japan’s northernmost island of Hokkaido. The rich natural environment and cold climate of Hokkaido make it an ideal place for making exquisite confections. By painstakingly sourcing the highest quality ingredients and perfecting original techniques, ROYCE’ has been producing truly unique chocolates since 1983.
Today, ROYCE’ has grown from Japan’s best-kept secret to delighting chocolate lovers worldwide with stores located in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Russia, India, Australia, and the U.A.E. In 2012, we opened the doors to our first U.S. store in the heart of New York City on Madison Avenue. Following this success, we opened two other locations in Bryant Park and the West Village.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to guide you and help you find the perfect chocolates. Complimentary tastings are held every day. We invite you to stop by any of our three NYC locations to taste…How Japan Does Chocolate.

A lil more deets about DailyCandy's Bazaar and Why You Should Check it Out Before it Closes at 8PM Sunday 11/10/13

I stopped by the Daily Candy's Bazaar before it closed for Saturday night to check it out.  When I first arrived, I was greeted with a ceiling-ful of balloons with pink ribbon.
First thought, ooh, I can grab one.  Turns out it's for a good cause and...

And a fun benefiting win-win surprise! Donate $5 and find out if you win a fun treat or a gift tag good for a discount at one of the Bazaar shops by picking a balloon.  Not only that, 100% of your contribution will be donated to Free Arts NYC - POP!  I haven't tried doing that yet, but try it and see what surprise you get!

Hazel Village has some of the cutest dolls and stuffed animals...

Among my fav are these two: a bunny with a pretty dress on and a fox with a blue scarf and pants!
Check them out at www.hazelvillage.com

Check out the schedule of events for Sunday - includes a live performance from the cast of Wicked!!

Different Levels of Fun! What's your fav?

There is a cute Daily Candy Shop downstairs, where...

...there are many unique assortment of candies, that are sold for $5, $25 and $50.

Again, all profits are donated to Free Arts NYC. And, you can ask to sample any of their displayed candies before making a purchase.

They even come in handbag and heels shapes!

And colorful teddy gummy bears chilling on a white chocolate bar!

Perhaps my fav surprise is seeing Lady M Confections!

Knowing how expensive their cakes are ($75 for a 9"er) and that I haven't tried them before, I was surprised to find out that...

Lady M Mille Crepes were $5 per slice!  And...

All proceeds go to Free Arts NYC - you probably see the pattern here, but the real surprise was...

...finding out that it's BOGO - Buy one, get one free!  The deal just got sweeter!

The person who sold me the crepes was nice enough to let me know that they're giving out samples of Royce Chocolate tomorrow at the DailyCandy Bazaar - @roycechocolate - so be sure to check them out! Lady M owner is also a partner of Royce Chocolate - Royce', 509 Madison Ave. (at E. 53rd St.); 646-590-0650 or royceconfectusa.com.  To see more of Lady M's beautiful and delicious cakes and pastries, check their website: http://www.ladym.com/cakes-and-pastries/

On the second floor are some fashionable items, including these cute party skirts, and tees.

Jamberry sells these cute stick on nail art designs with a simple heat + pressure application technique.
They're non-toxic, so it's great for adults and kiddos alike.  One pack allows for 2-3 manicures, lasting about 2 weeks long, while pedicures last about 4 weeks long.  A pack cost just $15, and if you purchase 3 sets, you get the 4th free!  They can even help you apply it for free on the spot.  Only the ones on the sign are for sale, while the ones physically displayed are just used as samples.  The suggested holographic design looks pretty cool!  Check out their collection at jamberrynails.com

These are the designs available for sale at the DailyCandy Bazaar!

There are more vendors to check out.

But that pretty much sums up my experience at DailyCandy's Bazaar! Let me know if you end up going.

Enjoy!
