New York Fashion Week may be over. But, there are more fashion events happening!
Well, the models selected from the casting call will be walking in the AsianInNY 2015 Fashion Show.
And you're invited!
AsianInNY's Annual Fashion Show will feature a runway show to showcase Taiwanese designers: Malan Breton's and Jessica Chen's Spring/Summer 2016 collections. Come experience Taiwan's fashion at Grand Central on September 26th 2015 from 1-2pm.
In addition to having Breton and Chen display their featured designs, AsianInNY has recruited the international fashion industry's accessory experts to contribute to the runway show including Jade Chiu and Wendy Chen. Hairstyles will be done by ECRU New York; makeup by Cakra Fashion Makeup & Skincare; with eyewear by TC Charton, the first eyewear company dedicated to the design of gorgeous styles specifically for Asian features.
The fashion show is part of "Celebrate Taiwan @ Grand Central Terminal's Smithsonian Museum Day Live!" event. One show only! Don't miss it!!

WANTED: Models to Walk in Upcoming 2015 Fashion Show - Casting Call!

AsianInNY will be having our annual fashion show at Grand Central Terminal on Saturday Sep. 26th from 11am-2pm.
We are casting models and if you are interested, please submit your info below.
Casting date/time: 9/17 and 9/18 from 5pm-6:30pm
Location: 1 East 42nd Street, 3rd Floor (TECO Building)
AsianInNY 2015 Fashion Show will be on Sat 9/26/2015 from 11am~2pm featuring designer Malan Breton and Jessica Chen.
Please fill out the online application here: https://docs.google.com/forms.
-Please include your full stats (height, weight, measurements, clothing sizes, experience), and detailed contact information (including email and contact number).
-If you don’t have an online portfolio, email some modeling samples along with a face AND body shot.
-For female models, please bring a pair of black high heels along with your head shots and any modeling images.
-For male models, please bring your head shots or any modeling samples.
Must be: ASIAN/ASIAN MIXED
Age must be between 16-36 years old.
Males: min height is 5′11″
Females: min height is 5′8″
Experience not required, but MUST be confident and reliable!

9/27 - CELEBRATE THE FASHION, FOOD & ART OF TAIWAN WITH SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE’S MUSEUM DAY LIVE!

SEPTEMBER 27, 2014
11AM - 2PM
VANDERBILT HALL

Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day Live! and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau will celebrate Taiwan with an event in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal from 11am – 2pm. Amb. Paul Chang, Director General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York will welcome guests at the opening of the event, which will feature the following acts on stage:
  •   Food demonstration from Easy House Taiwanese Restaurant
  •   A performance from Third Prince, a traditional dance troupe
  •   A Taiwanese Aboriginal dance performance
  •   A performance by Taiwanese singer Ya Han Chang
  •   A performance by Mr. OH Bear
  •   Fashion show featuring original works by Taiwanese fashion designers Malan Breton and Alexander King Chen
and event partners will be present, offering traditional Taiwanese craft demonstrations as well as food sampling.
Vendors on hand to distribute brochures:
  •    Taiwan Tourism Bureau
  •    China Airlines
  •    EVA Airways
Free demonstrations and sampling include:
  •  Calligraphy and fan painting
  •  Taiwanese vegetarian noodle sampling
  •  Bubble tea sampling
