4/15 - 2015 Tax Day Freebies and Deals!

Tax Day is almost here! Aside from rushing to file your tax returns, make a run for these freebies and deals!

GREAT IDEAS REPOST:
So you might be completely and totally stressed out about how much money you owe in taxes this year, but at least you can get a free burger on April 15.
In order to ease Tax Day’s annual blow to American citizens, a slew of restaurant chains are serving up free and discounted foods on Wednesday. But read carefully: There are some silly stipulations that you might have to follow in order to grab your free grub.
Hard Rock Cafe will give you a free Local Legendary Burger, but first you have to literally sing for your supper — specifically, an entire rock song (lyrics will be provided) onstage. Worth it?
Great American Cookies is sweetening Tax Day with one free sugar cookie per customer in stores, no purchase necessary.
McDonald’s customers who buy one Big Mac or Quarter Pounder with Cheese can get another for only a penny.
Pizza Hut is offering free pies … sort of. You have to file a “P-2″ form, which asks you, among other questions, to calculate your “Net Pizza Consumption” and submit it for a chance to receive Pizza Hut gift cards in the amount of your net pizza return.
Sonic is offering half-price cheeseburgers all day.
Schlotzsky’s will give away one free small original sandwich (packed with ham, salami, cheddar, black olives and more) per customer with the purchase of a 32-ounce drink and a bag of chips.
California Tortilla is handing out free chips and queso or salsa to anyone who makes a purchase and says the secret password: “Taxes Shmaxes” — the chain prefers that you say it “in a bored, funny voice” to make it more “fun.”
Boston Market fans can grab two meals for the price of one, whether it be a whole sandwich, salad bowl or other entree option.
Sonny’s BBQ is offering half-priced rib dinners (usually $12.50).
BLT Prime & BLT Steak locations are offering half off all alcoholic beverages.
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt‘s fans can fill up a container with froyo (up to 16 oz.) and as many toppings as that cup can physically hold for only $4.15. “Like” Orange Leaf on Facebook and claim the offer when it’s posted on April 14 — print the confirmation or show it on your smartphone at the store.

Huffington Post REPOST:

Itemizing all those receipts before filing taxes can be pretty soul-crushing. Why not enjoy some discounts and freebies?
A slate of companies -- most of them restaurant chains -- offer annual rebates on and around April 15. And putting aside whether the whole thing is a cheap marketing gimmick or not, free froyo and a pro bono back massage sound pretty sweet.
Here’s a list of places offering a break even if Uncle Sam doesn’t:
Arby’s
arbys
The sandwich chain is offering a free snack-sized curly fry all day on Tuesday with acoupon. This Arby’s fourth year offering the freebie.
Bruegger’s Bagels
brueggersbagels
The bagel chain is continuing its annual special on its Big Bagel Bundles. From April 12 through 15, customers can get a bag of 13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese in various flavors for $10.40 -– about $3.50 cheaper than usual prices.
Boston Market
boston market
On April 15, Boston Market is offering two half-chicken individual meals for $10.40. The meals include half a rotisserie chicken, a choice of two sides, and cornbread.
Office Depot
office depot
Looking to shred all those important tax documents? Office Depot will shred up to five pounds of paper for free if you bring in this coupon on April 15.
Pinkberry
pinkberry
From now until April 20, Pinkberry customers can bring in proof of purchase from the day before and get half-off an equivalent froyo.
McDonald’s
mcdonaldscoffee
In keeping with its Tax Day tradition, McDonald’s is offering free small coffee during breakfast hours on April 15.
Hard Rock Café
hard rock cafe
There’s no such thing as a free meal, but you can sing for supper at Hard Rock Café on Tax Day. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 15, the restaurant chain will give away a free burger, sandwich or salad to anyone who will stand up and sing in front of the other diners in the restaurant.
HydroMassage
massagebed
The Internal Revenue Service has a way of leaving the shoulder muscles in tight knots. So each year, HydroMassage doles out free sessions in its massage beds from April 14 to 18 with a coupon. The beds massage muscles with high-pressure streams of water, and are located at fitness centers and spas.
