As expected, the Samsung retail store has some fun activities in store and giveaways in celebration of Father's Day. 

Last time, on Mother's Day, they gave away free bouquets of flowers and customizably designed cookies!

4/16-4/17 - Check Out the 3D Print Design Show For Free - Register by 4/15!

THE PREMIERE 3D PRINTING DESIGN EVENT

The 3D Print Design Show, taking place April 16-17 as part of 3D Print Week NY, will showcase the design capabilities of 3D printing with hands-on exhibits and interactive displays. Join us for stunning 3D printed pieces of architecture, fashion, interior design, and consumer goods.

Taking place within the 3D Print Design show will be the 3D Print Art Show and 3D Print Fashion show, where attendees will enjoy innovative pieces of fine art and fashion through carefully-curated displays, runway events, and more.

Registration for the 3D Print Design Show is free, and also grants access to the 3D Print Art Show, 3D Print Fashion Show, and the Inside 3D Printing exhibit hall.

Changes at the Samsung Galaxy Studio That You Need to Know!

As the Samsung Galaxy Studio transitions into a retail store, construction and changes take place.

For the new year, there is a new schedule:

Monday's: Mirror or Coaster
Tuesday's: Mini travel bag
Wednesday's: Kid Robot T-shirt
Thursday's: Wine Tote
Friday's: Mug
Saturday's: Kid Robot T-shirt
Sunday's: Tote Bag

But the design studio portion of the store unfortunately will not be here for long and neither is the cafe which serves complimentary Breads Bakery baked goods and Liquiteria juices.

The last day that the design studio and the cafe portion of the Samsung store will stay until is Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Be sure to stop by and customize a gift for your friends' birthdays, next year's holiday gift or just-cuz-you're-my-friend gift.

After that, I would suggest stopping by to see what's new and what has replaced the Design Studio and Cafe.
