Forget Fashion Week. This year, the buzz is all about the High Line’s Back-to-School Teen Fashion Show! See what happens when teens team up with designers to create the hottest looks for this year’s fall season.

In 2011, we surveyed local residents and asked about the kind of programming they wanted to see and do on the High Line. Fashion was a crowd favorite. With the High Line’s resemblance to a catwalk, we decided that it was only natural to host a fashion show on the High Line.

We recruited local teens to work with up-and-coming New York–based designers and fashionistas to create these exclusive back-to-school looks.  A beauty team with an eye for detail and a knack for visual creativity was responsible for making it all come together with hair, makeup, and nail art.

Have a great moon-walking fashiony Thursday Night!
