Dry Swim -Oh my, where did the water go?!

June 19–29.11 days, 35 projects, 90+ artists.

As an annual arts festival since 2002, River To River has become a cornerstone of Lower Manhattan culture, providing an intense and rewarding way to experience the waterfronts, parks, plazas, hotels, historic landmarks, temporarily vacant office spaces, and other sites downtown. As the lead producer since 2011, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) has transformed the festival schedule and content in response to the changing landscape downtown and in order to better serve the River To River audience.
In 2014 LMCC will present the 13th annual festival. Working in partnership, we will showcase renowned and breakout artists from New York City and beyond and contextualize their work for a downtown audience. The artists will respond to the architecture of some of New York City’s most iconic locations and hidden gems. The performances, exhibitions, talks, walks, installations, works-in-progress showings, and social gatherings will center around ideas of movement and sound and will vary in scale. River To River 2014 will engage in an ongoing dialogue with the history and future of site-based artistic practices.

Have fun,
Terresa =)
