Q. What is the free breakfast offer that I can receive on my Chick-fil-A One™ app?
A. Participating restaurants will offer customers the choice of a Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit, Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis™ (3-count), or an Egg White Grill through the Chick-fil-A One™ app. Customers need to download the latest version of the Chick-fil-A One™ app, join Chick-fil-A One™ and create an account September 1-10, 2016 to receive the offer. Customers who have previously joined Chick-fil-A One will just need to sign in to receive their offer. Offer must be redeemed by September 30, 2016.
Q. How do I receive my free offer?
A.
  • 1. Download the Chick-fil-A One™ app on your smartphone, available for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you already have the Chick-fil-A One™ app, please ensure you have updated to the latest version.

  • For Apple iPhones, it needs to be version 5.0.0 or higher. You can check this by navigating to the Chick-fil-A App > tapping "About Chick-fil-A One™" (located on your Chick-fil-A One™ card) > then looking towards the bottom where it says "Version."

  • For Android phones, it needs to be version 2.5.0 or higher. You can check this by navigating to the Chick-fil-A App > tapping “Menu” > “Settings” > then looking towards the bottom where it says "Version."

  • 2. Once you've downloaded or updated the app, tap on "Join Chick-fil-A One™".
  • 3. If you have an existing Chick-fil-A account (e.g. from Cow Calendar Card, Kids Club or Catering), please sign in with that email address and password. Or, you can create a new Chick-fil-A One™ account.
  • 4. Your free breakfast offer should now be loaded onto your account. You'll find it in your "available treats" section on the main page of the app if you scroll down a little. In order to see this breakfast offer, you may need to scroll horizontally through your available treats if you have other treats available.
Q. How do I redeem my free offer?
A.There are two ways to redeem: The most convenient way is through a Mobile Order because it allows you to bypass the line inside the restaurant:
  • 1. Select the free breakfast item you'd like by tapping "Choose" underneath its picture in the app.
  • 2. Select "Add to Mobile Order" when presented with the option.
  • 3. Select the restaurant where you'd like to redeem your breakfast item. You can search or use the map.
  • 4. Then choose how you'd like to receive your order. You can select "Carry Out" at every restaurant. Some restaurants offer “Curbside” service as well. If you want to go through the drive-thru, please do not add your breakfast item to a mobile order. Instead select “scan at restaurant” to redeem.
  • 5. Add any other items, like a side or a beverage, and then tap "Submit" to complete you order.
  • 6. When you arrive at the restaurant, tap "I'm Here" so your food is prepared hot and fresh.
The second way to redeem is by scanning your membership QR Code:
  • 1. Let the team member know that you have a free breakfast item you'd like to redeem when you arrive at the counter or the drive-thru speaker box.
  • 2. Place your order for your desired free breakfast item. You may add other items like a side or a beverage if you wish.
  • 3. Navigate to your membership QR Code by tapping on "My card" within the app. Your screen should automatically brighten to prepare for scanning.
  • 4. Scan your QR Code by holding your phone a few inches away from the scanner. Inside the restaurant, the scanner is located next to the credit card payment terminal by the register and emits a red light. If you are at the drive-thru window, a team member will use a portable scanner to assist you.
  • 5. Once scanned, your breakfast offer should now be applied. You may choose to pay for another item you may have added to your order (e.g. side or beverage) with a credit card, cash or Chick-fil-A One™ Pay at this time.
Q. How long does the free breakfast promotion last?
A. Customers receive the free breakfast offer by joining Chick-fil-A One™ after downloading or using the latest version of the Chick-fil-A One™ app between September 1-10, 2016 and may redeem your offer through September 30th, 2016 at participating restaurants.
Q. Can I redeem more than one of the free breakfast items offered?
A. Only one breakfast item can be received and redeemed per Chick-fil-A One™ account.
Q. Where can I redeem my free breakfast offer?
A. You may redeem your free breakfast offer at any participating Chick-fil-A restaurant. Please note that many Mall locations do not serve breakfast or serve limited breakfast items so all of the Giveaway products may not be available. Please also note that the offer cannot be accepted at Chick-fil-A Express and Chick-fil-A licensed locations such as those in airports, college campuses, office complexes and hospitals. These locations are not operated by Chick-fil-A, but are operated by professional third-party food contractors who currently are not capable of processing offers through the Chick-fil-A One™ app. Please remember, this offer must be redeemed by September 30, 2016.
Q. What is a Chick-fil-A One™ account?
A. A Chick-fil-A One™ account gives you access to Chick-fil-A’s app, including mobile ordering, payment, and our membership program. A Chick-fil-A One™ account will be needed in order to redeem your free breakfast offer.
Q. What if I was Chick-fil-A One™ member before September 1, 2016?
A. Existing Chick-fil-A One™ members who joined before September 1, 2016 will automatically have the breakfast offer loaded onto your account. You will need to ensure you have downloaded the latest version of the Chick-fil-A One™ App. When you have signed in, you will see the offer in the 'available treats' section underneath your Chick-fil-A One™ profile card. Please remember that the offer must be redeemed by September 30, 2016.
Q. I received an email after logging into my Chick-fil-A account on www.chick-fil-a.com saying that I am now part of Chick-fil-A One™. Does this mean I received my offer?
A. If you received this email between September 1-10, 2016 you should have also received an email with instructions about receiving your breakfast offer. The offer should be loaded to your account but you'll need to download the latest Chick-fil-A One™ app September 1-10, 2016 to redeem. The offer must be redeemed by September 30, 2016.
Q. Can I redeem my offer for something other than one of the three breakfast items?
A. The only offerings available for this giveaway are the Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit, Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis™ (3-count), or Egg White Grill.
Q. I don’t have a smartphone. Can I still receive the offer?
A. Unfortunately, this free offer is only available to those who are using the latest version of the Chick-fil-A One™ app.
Q. I already have and use the Chick-fil-A app. How do I receive the free offer?
A. If you already have the Chick-fil-A app, please download the latest version and join Chick-fil-A One™ September 1-10, 2016 to receive the breakfast offer.
Q. Can I redeem my offer via the drive-thru or do I have to redeem inside the restaurant?
A. In the drive-thru, the free breakfast offer via the Chick-fil-A One™ app may only be redeemed by scanning. If you are redeeming within a mobile order, please follow the instructions within the app for pick-up in the restaurant. Please remember that the offer must be redeemed by September 30, 2016.
Q. Can I upgrade my free breakfast offer or apply the free breakfast item towards a meal?
A. You may add other items to your order or customize your breakfast item, but these extra items are not part of the offer and will be charged at the normal price for at the restaurant.
Q. Do I have to pay for the mobile app?
A. The Chick-fil-A One™ app is free of charge. However standard data rates may apply if using cellular network.
Q. Can I combine my free offer with others in this transaction?
A. The free breakfast offer may be combined with other orders in this transaction, but the customer will have to pay the difference in price.
Q. How old do you have to be to participate in the Sandwich giveaway?
A. You must be 13 years of age as of September 1, 2016 to participate.
Q. How do I give feedback about the breakfast offer?
A. We'd love to hear from you. Once you've redeemed your breakfast item, you can use our 5-star rating system to tell us how you felt about your choices. To rate, go to Treats (on the Chick-fil-A One™ profile card) > Scroll down and tap a star rating.
Q. When I tried to redeem my free breakfast item through mobile ordering, it still charged me for the breakfast item. Why?
A. Please ensure that you have not redeemed the offer on a previous visit. We may also be experiencing technical difficulties and will work to resolve these quickly.
Q. When I tried to redeem my free breakfast item by scanning at the register or the drive-thru it did not seem to work. Why?
A. For the best results when scanning, please ensure that you let the team member know you'd like to redeem a treat. Place your phone a few inches from the scanner and allow it be read. You'll hear a short beep letting you know your membership information has been read. The team member can then confirm that your free breakfast offer has been applied.
