REPOST from abcsnews.com:
It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas and Macy's is teaming up once again this year with Make-A-Wish to spread holiday cheer to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
As part of its seventh annual "Believe" campaign, Macy's is inviting kids of all ages across the country to believe by dropping off a letter for Santa in the red Santa Mail letterbox at their local Macy's. And, for the first time this year, the "Believe" letter-writing campaign is going digital. Customers can visit Macys.com/Believe and email their letter to Santa. For each letter collected in stores and online through Christmas Eve, Macy's will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, to help grant wishes for children who have life-threatening medical conditions.

"Embracing their imagination is what allows our wish kids to think big; to think about the future as they fight their illness," said David Williams, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. "Macy's "Believe" campaign captures that sentiment perfectly and we are so proud to work with such a caring, passionate, and generous company."
Make-A-Wish has granted wishes for children since 1980, making over 240,000 wishes become a reality, from meeting a celebrity role model, to becoming a rock star for a day, starring in a Broadway play, swimming with dolphins, visiting Disneyland and more.

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
Bring a stamped letter, addressed to "Santa At The North Pole," to your local Macy's store and drop it in a special Santa Mail letterbox or email your letter at Macys.com/Believe. For each letter received through Dec. 24, Macy's will donate $1, up to $1 million, to Make-A-Wish. Macy's will count the letters received in stores and deliver them to the Post Office.

Before the year ends, write your dreams on the confetti that will fall at Times Square!

All pics from this blog.

As the new year comes and the old one goes, we all have new dreams, resolutions and aspirations.

But, did you know that you can write down your wishes, dreams, and personal goals on a piece of confetti and let it rain down on New Year's Eve at Times Square?

I bet you didn't! I didn't find out until just now.

Here's how:

From now through December 31, 2013, visit the Times Square Museum and Visitor Center
(7th Avenue between 46th and 47th Street and write it all down!

Who knows? May all your wishes, dreams and goals come true for the new year!

UPDATE for those who can't physically make it to Times Square (or too lazy to), you can submit your wishes to the Virtual Wishing Wall online and they will gladly print your wish on a confetti!

Virtual Wishing Wall
Can’t make it to Times Square? No worries, your wishes can still fall from the sky this New Year’s. Just submit your wish, your dream, your first, online. We will print it onto a piece of confetti for you, so that no matter where you are on New Year's Eve, your wish will be part of the Times Square celebration. Happy New Year!
