I haven't been to this year's Rent the Runway sample sale, though Racked NY has done a review of it where you can read all about it here.

As with most sample sales, there is an additional discount on top of the discounts during the last few days.
However, depending on what you like, the sizes and availability of it might dwindle toward the end.

Also, be sure to check for damages before you make the purchase as it is final sale!

From a previous Rent the Runway sample sale, I snagged the following Halston Heritage red evening gown:
