CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO AND ACTIVITIES!

Join us for Target First Saturdays and enjoy engaging and eclectic free art and entertainment programs every month (except September), from 5 to 11 p.m. Our new B CafĂ© offers artist-created sandwiches, as well as salads, sweets, and a variety of beverages. Parking is a flat rate of $6 starting at 5 p.m. (All other Saturdays, we close at 6 p.m.)
Some Target First Saturday activities take place in smaller and more intimate locations in the Museum, so you’ll need a ticket for those programs. Ticket lines often form 30 minutes before tickets are distributed at the Admissions Desk. If you’re a Member, pick up tickets from the Membership Desk while supplies last. While we do our best to keep our listings as up-to-date as possible, sometimes last-minute program changes are unavoidable.
Have a performance, film, or activity you’d like to present? Submit a proposal or email us for more information.

Have fun,
Terresa =)

9/27 - Flavorpill Presents Art of Yoga Powered by the 2015 Honda Fit!

Saturday, September 27 (doors at 9am)

Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY

Ever Done Yoga in a Museum?

This month, Flavorpill & the 2015 Honda Fit are teaming up

to make your downward dog a true work of art. With Art of

Yoga, yogi Dana Flynn (of Laughing Lotus & Lotus Flow

Yoga) will lead an all-level class within the Brooklyn

Museum on Saturday, September 27 (doors at 9am)

soundtracked by Tasha Blank. We'll even hook you up w/a

free yoga mat — just remember to dress comfortably and

bring your water bottle.

Then, hit warrior two alongside works by Judy Chicago,

Rodin, and Rembrandt, and stick around to explore the

exhibits (we recommend Killer Heels: The Art of the High-

Heeled Shoe) after the class.

RSVP now to join the class. Since space is limited, your
RSVP won't guarantee admission; we'll send confirmations

via email. Thanks to the 2015 Honda Fit for making it all

possible!

Namaste,

Terresa =)
