The Daily Show Opens a Trump "Presidential Twitter Library"

Image result for trump twitter museum
REPOST from popsugar.com:
This weekend only, New York City residents and visitors have the privilege of visiting a one-of-a-kind attraction: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library. Presented by The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, this free exhibit displays some of the POTUS's best (and by best, I mean worst) tweets to date in a museum-like setting — fancy gold picture frames and all. No, this isn't fake news, but you can bet there will be a whole lot of covfefe involved.
This isn't just any ol' presentation, either, as it "will feature visual installations and a fully interactive experience for hands of all sizes." The best part of all? The library is located at 3 W. 57th St., which is merely one block away from Trump Tower. It's open from June 16 through 18, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. A handful of lucky visitors have already stopped by and naturally couldn't resist sharing photos from the exhibit. If it's too late to book your tickets to NYC, read on to see what this hilarious display looks like in real life.
Enjoy,
Terresa =)

    ABOUT AMANDA PARER:
    Australian artist Amanda Parer’s edgy and ephemeral artworks explore the natural world, its fragility and our role within it. With startlingly beautiful creatures enlarged and frozen within their chosen habitats. When viewing one of these iconic, mostly feral animals inhabiting a beautifully haunting landscape, the environmental message is enhanced by the artist’s finely crafted traditional technique in any of her chosen mediums such as painting, sculpture and public installation. Parer is an artist originally from Sydney but now resides in Tasmania where her work has been acquired by both public and private collections. She has been selected for notable national competitions including five times for the Blake Prize, as well as for the Glover Prize in 2008, 2012 & 2013.
    Amanda has just completed a new light art installation called Fantastic Planet which was commissioned by Winter Lights Festival in London. Her current projects range from developing a new work in collaboration with MIT Boston and working on a full exhibition at Harbour City Gallery in Hong Kong in October 2016, which will include paintings, sculptures, and installation.

    REPOST: 6/24 - Seinfeld Popup - Stop by "Seinfeld: The Apartment"!

    Stop by Jerry's Place

    Hulu to re-create Seinfeld home ahead of launch

    By John Ambrosio
    Special to AMNY

    It's like Festivus come early:  Hulu announced Thursday it will re-create Jerry Seinfeld's Upper West Side apartment in anticipation of streaming the beloved "show about nothing."

    The mock (and still unrealistically spacious) bachelor pad will be located at 451 West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District -- far from the sitcom's storied location.

    It will feature the couch, the kitchen, and a "Seinfeld" gallery with props, scripts and rare memorabilia.

    Real fans can even barge in Kramer-style, or re-create George Costanza's Valentine's Day photo shoot, Hulu senior vice president and head of marketing Jenny Wall said in a statement.

    "Seinfeld" is one of those rare shows that continues to influence pop culture to this day," Wall said in the statement, "so what better way to launch its streaming debut than to celebrate the fans and give them a chance to relive the scenes from some of the most iconic moments in TV history."

    The free installation, "Seinfeld: The Apartment," will open for four days starting June 24, or the same day the series starts streaming on Hulu, and will remain open to the public every day from 10AM to 7PM.  But for those too eager to wait a week to stream their favorite episodes, Hulu will count down the seven best Seinfeld episodes for Hulu Plus subscribers starting June 17.

    Have fun,
    Terresa =)
