Samsung Swag Schedule Update! Come and Customize Some Free Goodies!

If you haven't been to the Samsung Galaxy Studio in SoHo, you've been missing out on so many free swag, including the Note Design Studio area where you can customize free swag daily. Click the link above for more detailed information.

What kind of free swag?

As you can see from the schedule above, on Monday's, you can make your own compact mirror.  On Tuesday's, it's a KidRobot T-Shirt.  On Wednesday's, it's a handy dandy luggage tag, no confusion on who's luggage is whose!  Just perfect for the traveling season.  On Thursday's, it's a mini travel bag - that sure sounds like another new item!  On Friday's, it's a t-shirt, with no KidRobot.  On Saturday's, we say hello to the luggage tag again.  And last, but not least, our favorite, the tote bag is available on Sunday's - which is quite popular - so I definitely recommend coming early for that one!

As always, every day you can make a NFC Contact Card, which is like a business card, except you can beam your contact information to a NFC-enable phone, so there is absolutely no need to manually enter your information ever again! Except the times when your new contact doesn't have a cool NFC-enabled phone...

Another thing to note is that from 3PM-6PM daily, you're required to use the Milk Music Note template for all the customization in the design studio. If you come before that or after those times, you're free to use your imagination and design as you wish!

6/28 - The 6th Annual Great New York City Scavenger Hunt 2014!

Through 6 years and 700 clues, you fearless hunters have done it all. From a Shakespearean battle on the Brooklyn Bridge, to a Sharpie-mustachioed hot dog eating contest, you've battled embarrassment, sunburn, and probably some unwilling taxi drivers.

You've led choirs on the Times Square steps, chugged a gallon of milk, and crashed more than a few picnics. You've traded paperclips for zucchinis, swapped clothes with strangers, and stomached more than your fair share of watermelon. You, my friend, are a great scavenger hunter.

The rules: Gather your team of 3 to 8 willing friends and enemies, argue about a team name, and meet on the 25th Street plaza (between 3rd Avenue and Lexington Avenue) at 5:00PM on Saturday, June 28. You'll need a camera, comfortable shoes, and a high tolerance for silliness. We return at 10:30PM. There is no prize but pride.

When you have your rag-tag gang together, post the team and it's name on our wall here – and begin practicing.

Come one, come all, and join the hundreds of great hunters who walked (sometimes barefoot) before you and celebrate our 6th annual hunt. More info to come!

As part of their “France is in the Air” marketing campaign, Air France has put together an expo in Chelsea at the Center 548 to show off Air France’s newly transformed cabins in Business, Premium Economy and Economy classes, and learn more about Air France's dedicated attention to service, quality and luxury, resulting in a new and more upscale travel experience.

A mobile app, "Air France Expo" can be downloaded starting now from the Apple Store and Google Play to guide visitors through the exhibition. As visitors stroll through the exhibition, the App provides additional information and content as well as augmented reality experiences for children.

Visitors to Grand Central Terminal on Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27, are invited to literally “Eat the Art” showcased at a creatively crafted, two-day pop-up gallery featuring edible works of art. It's going to be a real sausage fest in Union Square tomorrow when an 80-foot long smoker and grill rolls in to dish out some free tubed meat products. That would be part of HISTORY®'s ("Channel") NYC edition of the Cross-County Cookout, which has been traveling to music festivals and other events since the end of May. Yes, it's all a big promotion of the channel's TV lineup—which has been transformed from a constant rotation of WWII documentaries to reality-style shows about gator wranglers—but hey: free sausage!

The star attraction, the Ultimate Smoker & Grill, can slow-smoke 2,000 pounds of meat at one time beneath its 20-foot hydraulic lid. Manning the grill will be Trace "Rib Whisperer" Arnold, a Texas restaurant owner who created the behemoth BBQ machine. On board his monstrosity will be Jalapeno & Cheddar Sausage and HISTORY Hickory Sausage, samples of which will be free to anyone on hand.

There will also be an opportunity to "ride the Gator"—think mechanical bull riding but on a reptile—a nod to the aforementioned Swamp People show, plus other swag to add clutter to your desk. The semi-trailer grill and accoutrement will be parked at the North End of Union Square at 17th Street and Park Avenue South. The meat feasting begins tomorrow at 11 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m.
