Dozens of outdoor movie screenings are headed to local parks, piers and green spaces in neighborhoods, and this year's line up has a little something for everyone.
From "Purple Rain" to "Casablanca" to "Jurassic World", DNAinfo has compiled your calendar to New York City's outdoor film screenings across the five boroughs.
Most of the events are free, open to the public, and begin at sundown. Viewers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and snacks for the evening. Keep in mind that organizers may cancel screenings due to bad weather.
We will update this guide as new screenings are announced all summer, so bookmark this page and check back regularly.
