1. Instead of googling, try Bing's search engine.  Accumulate points for every search and redeem for gift cards like Starbucks, Sephora, Groupon or Amazon, get redbox credits to a free movie rental, enter to win a sweepstakes or donate to one of the listed charities, including "The Boys and Girls Club of America" and "Teach for America."  

One of my fav gift cards redeemable is the Tango Card! "What is that?" you say. The exact thought when I first heard of it.  Known as the "get exactly what you want" card, you have 3 options after ordering this card: 1. Pick from more choices of gift cards such as Target, Fandango or iTunes. 2. Donate to any of their listed charities or 3. 2.  Hmm...how many times a day would you say you unlock your phone? Well, if you have to do it anyway, let's swipe some change into your pocket.  Locket's the name of the Android app that pays you for unlocking your phone.  By downloading the app, you basically rent out your lock screen to brands.  With one swipe, you can either open the ad, or unlock your phone the way you always do.

If you like to watch TV, do the Viggle - I mean Viggle It! (Available for both iPhones and Androids)

3.  Are you starting to see the pattern here? When you watch television, simply open the Viggle app and let it listen to the show you're watching.  Once you're checked in, the app keeps track and rewards you points for watching.

There's also other fun interactive ways to earn points such as correctly answering trivia questions during the show, or selecting a basketball player that scores well throughout the game through MYGUY.

Rack up enough points? Then it's time to redeem it for a plethora of things, ranging from deals, sweepstakes, gift cards, viggle swiggle/swaggle (just  made that up! - can't believe these are actual words in the Urban dictionary.) giving back to charities to Kindles and even a boat cruise (At the rate I'm earning points, I probably won't be able to redeem that, until my kid is like 16 years old, assuming I had one today...) 

But have no fear, your first redemption won't take years.  In fact, my first took only about 2 months and I got a $25 Best Buy gift card!
